Matthew 24:16-18: A Prophecy Foretelling AI Surveillance and the Believer's Escape

  • "Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak" (v. 18). A cloak in biblical times was essential for protection from the elements. AI algorithms, coupled with real-time tracking, could exploit such moments of hesitation, using clothing and other personal identifiers to pinpoint a believer's location and different behavior.

"Crazy Ivan" Maneuvers in an AI-Dominated World

The movie "Crimson Tide" offers a chilling parallel. In the film, the submarine USS Alabama executes a "Crazy Ivan," a sudden, unexpected turn, to evade enemy sonar. Similarly, believers in the tribulation must employ unpredictable, seemingly irrational actions to elude AI's relentless pursuit.

  • Varying routes and schedules. AI excels at pattern recognition. Adhering to routines or predictable paths makes believers easy targets. Unpredictable movements and changes in behavior could disrupt AI's algorithms and create opportunities for escape.

  • Minimal digital footprint. Digital trails provide a wealth of data for AI analysis. Limiting online activity, using disposable communication devices, and avoiding traceable transactions become survival strategies.

  • Camouflage and deception. In an age of ubiquitous cameras, blending into the background and masking one's identity become critical. Techniques like changing clothes, altering appearances, or using decoys could confuse AI surveillance.
